These four ways worked for me! It's actually part of the solution center which doesn't need flash player to run. If you launch this app you can scan and adjust colors, size and finally save it in format of pdf or jpg but I wasn't able to change scan resolution unfortunately. It was able to scan and unlike method 1, I was able to change resolution but I wasn't able to adjust image after scan like color tone, gamma or sharpness.
